Blog of Sam: Soundtrack completed
http://samgoodeyblog.blogspot.com/2011/04/soundtrack-completed.html
Wednesday, 6 April 2011. Our group managed to finish the soundtrack for our film yesterday, in time for our deadline. I think our soundtrack is very good because it represents the gangster genre well by being almost jazzy and fits well to what is happening on the screen. We hope to mix it into our film before the deadline. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A reflective summary to problems in group work. My feelings towards our openings. Blog of Sam: Feedback to film
http://samgoodeyblog.blogspot.com/2011/04/feedback-to-film.html
Sunday, 3 April 2011. This week we showed our film to the rest of our class. It was a working copy, the only thing we missed though was the soundtrack. It all went pretty well except during the showcase one clip hadn't exported with the rest so we had three seconds of "Media can't be found" but it didn't have too much effect on the overall film. hollys media: January 2011

Thursday, 27 January 2011. Light and Sound: The light is coming from the centre and doesn't light up anyone and take the focus to anyone seperately, so the focus is on the group as a whole. The only talking comes from the photographer who is trying to get the men to be more energetic and smile, as they are looking slightly bored and lifeless. Britishness: Classic british working men. Stereotypical: Boring, british, working men. Colour: The white table and props make the scene seem angelic and pure, but t...

hollys media: December 2010
http://hollyoxleymedia.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Monday, 13 December 2010. There are many ways to draw in a mass audience for a new movie. the poster above was just one of the ways in which the makers of Harry Potter captured their audience. The whole poster is very dark and mysterious to suggest that the film itself is going to be dark and mysterious. the only light is coming from behind the main characters head, which also casts a shadow on the front of his face, adding to the darkness and mystery. Sunday, 12 December 2010. The mise-en-scene I chose ...

Tuesday, 2 November 2010. This is the famous crane shot from the opening sequence of 'Touch of Evil'. The crane allows the camera to follow and track characters and also to higher and lower to allow the scene to feature different angles and make it more interesting. Over the Shoulder Shot. hollys media: My Response to Footage and Overall Piece
http://hollyoxleymedia.blogspot.com/2011/03/my-response-to-footage-and-overall.html
Friday, 25 March 2011. My Response to Footage and Overall Piece. The opening sequence overall, I believe, makes the audience ask questions and want to know what will happen next. It doesn't reveal much about the film that follows, but in a way this is a good thing as it makes the audience want to stay and watch more. It has met my expectations and as a group we have shared responsibilities and ideas, not letting one person take control over everybody else. Labels: Group Opening Sequence.

Thursday, 7 April 2011. After finishing filming our evaluation, it was uploaded onto YouTube and edited so the seperate question videos are linked together. The first video is below, with the links to the other videos on YouTube. For the last part of my project, I did a self evaluation sheet will helped me to evaluate my progress and how I feel I have worked through it. It also shows good points and bad points which I can improve on in my next project. Labels: Group Opening Sequence.
