The silhouettes against the orange sky is a great example of the use of lighting. Silhouettes are an effective tool because the eyes of the audience put the puzzle pieces of the scene together with little effort. Contrast is a major player in this photo. Nobody stops to smell a rose or pet a puppy or kiss a baby anymore. Put your mind on pause for a moment, and focus on one thing. What is something small and simple that just makes your day? Courtney's adventures in Europe! Food and Beverages in Europe. July 2, 2014. Chocolate Ice Cream at the top of Mt. Rigi in Switzerland. It was the hottest summer on record in Switzerland, so the cold treat was much needed. Pesto pasta in Switzerland. We are so hungry, and the meals were all so expensive, that this take out pasta place was our saving grace. Crepes in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris! 8230;yuck…I hate crepes.
