Not once did he ask for the cast off, and we got good at bath with a bag on our arm. I was very nervous that Luke would be very scared when they used the loud "saw" to take the cast off. I had warned Luke it would be noisy, and he was SO BRAVE! I was so proud. Luke is ALL boy and just wants to go, go, go! View my complete profile.

I think we really needed a week of no schedules (and I needed the week to prep for Avery's 5th birthday party- more on that in another post! Avery loved having extra time for crafts. She amazes me with what she can create from "left overs" that I throw into her craft drawer. She is WAY more creative than I am! A treat for my brave boy! I was so proud.

We've had a lot of cold (for Texas) and rain lately, so we all are ready to see a little sun! We've done our best getting our energy out doing inside activities, but they just couldn't take being inside any longer on Sunday. Not sure how my mom did it with the long winters in Iowa when I was little! Thursday, January 6, 2011. Know it by heart. Tonight Avery was singing. Away in a Manger.

I have to remind myself he broke his arm last week. Honestly I don't think Luke has felt much pain since he got the splint and now his cast. God is GOOD! So, the answer to the question, "How is Luke? As for "How is Mom? Holly hel...
