From Chalkboards To Strollers. Child Centered Linky Parties. Sunday, May 13, 2012. Avery is 31.5 months old and Parker is 9 months old. I don't have too many pictures of tot school this week because we spent most of our time working out in the garden. Avery was such a big helper! Then I gave her the funnel and let her try the work again. Afterwards, we, once again, talked about what happened and why. I think doing the work both ways really let her see and understand the purpose of the funnel. Avery has a...

From Chalkboards To Strollers: June 2012
http://chalkboardstostrollers.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
From Chalkboards To Strollers. Child Centered Linky Parties. Friday, June 22, 2012. Avery has been really into painting and music lately so I thought we would try out a new art technique that would combine the two! I took a lid from an old shoe box and cut a piece of paper to fit inside. Then Avery and I stretched rubber bands around the lid. She spent quite a while just playing the rubber bands like a guitar, she thought it was pretty cool! Labels: arts and crafts. Thursday, June 21, 2012. And a little ...

From Chalkboards To Strollers. Child Centered Linky Parties. Friday, September 7, 2012. Autumn Scavenger Hunt For Toddlers and Pre-Schoolers. The day after the Autumn walk Avery and I used the items she collected to make an Autumn Window Hanging like this one. I don't have any pictures of it (the walk was during the time that I wasn't blogging a whole lot since Parker was so little and we were still adjusting) but it turned out really cute and we loved looking at it all Autumn long! Hope it's a hit!

Here is what we had out for the kids to explore:. Avery loves water beads so we went all out with them. I bought a 1 pound bag of clear water beads. Plus 3 half ounce bags of colored water beads. We threw in some varying clear containers (coffee creamer bottle, tennis ball container, clear bowls, and baby food container).

From Chalkboards To Strollers. Child Centered Linky Parties. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. For Father's Day our mom group went to a local kids' art studio where they came up with a bunch of fun crafts for the kids to do. One of them was a toy truck painting on a shirt or apron to give to the dads for Father's Day. It was similar to this project. To see where I am linking up! Labels: arts and crafts. Poshed: (p o sh) smart, elegant, fashionable. Monday, December 3, 2012. Santa and his elves. We worked on some homemade ornaments that our family's elf brought with him from the North Pole when he arrived. I love these homemade ornaments because each year when I unpack them I get to see how much the kids have grown. Here are a few of the past ones that I have that I just love. A few from their preschool years. A few of my daughter's as she grew. One of my favorites.her fingerprints in a snowman. I have f...
