Pamposh Dhar: The Allah Debate (Malaysia) - here we go again!
http://pamposhdhar.blogspot.com/2013/10/the-allah-debate-malaysia-here-we-go.html
Wednesday, October 16, 2013. The Allah Debate (Malaysia) - here we go again! Incredibly, the so-called Allah controversy is back in Malaysia! Here is what I wrote about it when it first surfaced back in early 2010:. Allah by Any Other Name. And here's a more scholarly look at the issue, published Oct 14 and pointing out, pertinently, that Christians throughout the Middle East pray to Allah without any outcry from the predominantly Muslim populations in these countries:. http://pamposhdhar.blogspot.com/2009/01/and-then-they-came-for-me.html
Tuesday, January 13, 2009. And Then They Came for Me. Lasantha Wickrematunge, the editor of Sri Lanka's Sunday Leader newspaper, was killed on Thursday, Jan. 8, on his way to work. Anticipating his own killing, Wickrematunge, an outspoken critic of the government, left a letter to be published in just such an event. His paper published the letter on Monday, Jan. 11:. Http:/ www.thesundayleader.lk/20090111/editorial-.htm. Amen to that. And may Lasantha Wickrematunge find peace. Posted by Pamposh Dhar.

Pamposh Dhar: A Visit to Delhi
http://pamposhdhar.blogspot.com/2012/04/visit-to-delhi.html
Tuesday, April 17, 2012. A Visit to Delhi. For once, I visited Delhi at the perfect time of year, just before the heat and dust descended. In late March, I was able to enjoy the green trees, with the leaves shining in the sunlight and swaying gently in the breeze, the cool evenings, the nicely sunny days. It was lovely. In many ways, it was such a great time…. Does that explain why it took us 65 minutes to cover this tiny stretch of road, where there was no accident or any other visible cause for a jam?

Pamposh Dhar: How precious is YOUR life?
http://pamposhdhar.blogspot.com/2008/07/how-precious-is-your-life.html

These traditions do not distinguish between individual human beings, assigning more or less value depending on race, monetary worth or any other criteria. The Bible tells us to lo...

http://pamposhdhar.blogspot.com/2009/01/possibilities.html
Saturday, January 10, 2009. Karine Doche found this picture while browsing the Internet. She is circulating this on Facebook, where she has also set up a group called “Everything is possible… Tout est possible…” Karine is not able to tell us more about the picture - who took it, whether the photographer came upon this scene, or if the picture was “composed,” who the boys are, etc. Do your bit to make that tomorrow a reality – sign this avaaz petition calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza:.
