Just another WordPress.com site. October 28, 2014. What it’s REALLY like to have a concussion! After making it into the house, calling my hubby, and using an ice pack, I decided not to go to the doctor. It did not break the skin, but I had 2 large knots and a gushy area in between (a hematoma under the scalp). My pupils looked normal, I had a headache, but everything was ok! Noise, even soft noise was not a good thing. Then my emotions started to be affected and all I could do was cry about nothing!

It's seriously the best, and gets better and better every year! I can't believe It's already over and and Halloween is tomorrow. but I think that I've had my fill of popcorn balls to hold me over for another year! It was music to my ears when Jess called on Friday afternoon and said pack our bags. we're going to your mom's for the weekend! So that's just what we did! Yaaahoooo. It had been too long! The weather was the best we have ever experienced on the coast! We took advantage of it and DID IT ALL. No trip to Grandmas would be complete without a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium! Lunch at Pebble Beach. OSunset at Mission Ranch.

Jacklyn and the Johnson Boys. Friday, November 2, 2012. We have been enjoying fall so much! As usual we hit the pumpkin patch a few too many times. Our local Pumpkin farm is The BEST. Leave it to Trent to steal the show. he's gettin'. Down at the chicken show! With the trips to the pumpkin patch. we saved a boat load, because we grew our own pumpkins! Here's just half of the crop! Drew and his cousin Logan's first season of Basketball has just started. and let me tell you it's THE CUTEST DARN THING I've ever had the pleasure of watching! A Bunch of adorable little kindergartners in their uniforms, snazzy shoes, lack of concentration (especially when the cheerleaders come prancing by). doesn't get much more entertaining that this! This has been an exciting year for me, and at the top of the list is being 6 years out from my stem cell transplant! To be a survivor five or ten years out seemed an eternity and unthinkable. It was a time of living minute to minute. That was oh so special and started my day out in the best way! Throughout the day that I turned 62 years old, I received wonderful cards and calls, signed up for social security ( hahaha!
