Wow, did i underestimate what i would be like painting a mural while 8 month's pregnant! Needless to say, i don't think i'll schedule something like this again. After 6 days (i could only work 4 or 5 hours at a time) I finally finished baby Bailee's beautiful mural :). Even though it took a couple more days than expected I LOVE the finished product. This is one lucky girl with a great set of parents and now a super cool room!

That thing called nesting. So most likely you know we are expecting another baby girl in october. therefore i am currently pregnant and meet the qualifications for "nesting". whatever you want to call it, we are in the process of making way! We (i) decided to move emily into a new room and keep our nursery the way it is for our new darling hannah. why? Because it's a lot of work to redo something and its a lot of fun to plan a girly room for emily and she just needs to move OK!

Happy belated, bailee! Belated: happening later than should have been the case. late. overdue. behind schedule. But its better late than never right? This baby girl had to wait awhile for her birthday chalkboard which her parents requested after she turned one. but honestly, its still going to be a nice way to remember this special year in her blessed little life. So a very happy (belated) birthday to bailee! In her room so i used that to fill in some awkward spaces too.

Monday, 20 October 2014. Say hello to Petunia! In my last update I briefly talked about a book that I was asked to illustrate. As of today, I'm excited to announce that it has officially been released! It's called 'Petunia, The Girl who was NOT a Princess' by M.R. Nelson. The author's blog can be found here. It was quite a long process completing the illustrations, made harder by having a full-time job alongside, but I'm excited to see it finally published and to have my name on the cover of a book.

Friday, April 27, 2012. Bwah ha ha (insert evil laughter). Heck, at least it hasn't been a entire year since I posted. Honestly, I have my dear friend Jeri to thank for getting me back on the blog bandwagon. I kinda had another baby since my last post. Yeah, kind of a big deal. He's just a month old now. I'm feeling like I need to step out and express my creativity so that I have some resemblance of my old self again. I figured this would be a good first step.so to speak.
