Monday, August 15, 2011. So B finally made it to Minnesota. The other side of the country. I keep getting text messages asking different variations of the question,. How are you holding up? Kinda makes it sound like someone died, huh? Surprisingly, I'm doing ok. Buuuuuut, we're only two days in. Right now it kind of just feels like he's gone on a busines trip. And not that he's going to be living in the far away land of. For at least the next two years. For when reality really does set in.

During February, I made a 'quilt' for the tv cabinet. I know, I know. That's going a bit crazy, right? Well, it fits the top perfectly (18" x 58"), and I thought the quilt might protect it a little - it gets a lot of banging and crashing from the kids. BUT, my awesome husband suggested that it's probably just another thing that our littlest kiddo might pull on to drag everything OFF the tv cabinet, tv included.
