Learning to Play Together. Douglas has never been especially social, so his recent desire to play one on one with Dottie has been really pleasing to watch. Considering how much he did not like her when she came home from the hospital, I wasn't sure this day would ever come! Making faces in the bathroom mirror. Opening and shutting windows. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. She loved playing in this little pool with her little friends when it was the big kids turn to swim. But this was definitely her favorite part, an ice cream cone at the end! Saturday, August 22, 2009. Deadfall Lakes and Mt Eddy. Deadfall Lakes (upper and lower) are very beautiful areas with abundant campsites with less than attractive names. This is a great younger scout activity. The PCT follows the contours of the land and rises only 400 feet or so in the 3 mile hike. You can also begin in the bottom of the canyon and hike up that way. It is very beautiful. This was late June or early July and you can see the upper lake still has ice on it. Posted by Doug's Adventures.

Wednesday, May 21, 2014. It is a little hard to believe that our baby boy, our second child, is a year and a half old! He attended nursery at church for the first time this past Sunday. So crazy! He is definitely showing us in some ways how much of a "big boy" he really is becoming. The past couple weeks I have tried keeping track of all the words he can, or attempts to say. We are up to 25 plus! Well I could go on and on but I'll get to everybody's favorite part of a blog, the pictures!
