Sunday, February 17, 2013. Fire Truck and a hike. The firemen came to do inspections at our apartment complex, and they were so great with the kids. Bill and Olivia went on a day hike with some people from our church. Last day at Disneyland. Our passes expired in January, so here's the last of Disney for us! Wednesday, October 29, 2014. We've been busy this month. Lots going on at all 3 schools.parties, fieldtrips, homecoming dance, etc. Gabe plays a lot with his cars. He's also really into taking pictures. Gabe at Russell Farms for apple picking. Reese and Gabe checking out the animals. Gabe picking his 12 apples. And tasting of course! Wednesday, June 25, 2014. We went to the KOA in Canandaigua, NY. They had a "Kafe" so I didn't cook! Our nice, wooded site. The kids were cozy, right in between us. Was a little cold for swimming, but they braved it. The "art of roasting marshmallows 101". We rented a bike, we went on a hayride, zip lined, played in a tree house, low ropes course, jumped on a huge balloon pillow, played in the arcade. was great for our family! And had perfect weather. Saturday, August 30, 2014. Our new family member! Yesterday, Laura (Kaimin) arrived from Southern China. She'll be in 10th grade at a local private high school. Wednesday, September 3, 2014. First Day of School! 4 kids, 3 different schools. We get Zoe, Laura's cousin (they say sisters:) as well! Everyone is off to school today. We pick up our new mini van tonight at 5:30. Here's to creating a new normal as a family of 6. We're thrilled to have them here with us. Olivia and Gabe before we took Olivia to school.
