Sunday, October 28, 2012. This morning I was getting Tessa dressed for church and I put a pair of hot pink tights on her. Carter came in to ask for help with something and was instantly distracted by her tights. He scooted as close as he could get and touched them. Then he said,"What are these? Are these part of a morph suit? I wasn't sure I'd heard him correctly but he repeated it a second time. I chuckled and informed him they were just tights to match her dress. "Oh." he said. Friday, July 26, 2013. The newest member of team Holmstead,. He made his grand entry on July 16th making everyone wait a week past his due date. Labor however, went rather quickly (3 1/2 hours). He's my biggest baby so far weighing in at 9lb 10oz and he was 21 inches long. After 24 hours in the hospital we were both able to come home. The kids are smitten. Let's face it, we all are. Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Summer is here and we are loving it. My last post was mostly words (boring) so this picture will be mostly pictures. Enjoy! Carter is learning to ride his bike without the training wheels. He's almost got it. Squirt guns were a big hit at our house! I snapped these three pictures all in a row. There are a lot of layers, but this comes together in a snap. 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs. 1/2 c melted butter. Mix and press into 9 x 13 pan and put in freezer to harden for 10 min. 2 (8 oz.) pckgs cream cheese, softened. Beat until well blended, spread over graham cracker crust. 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained. Top cream cheese layer with pineapple. 4 large sliced bananas.
