The Hills of Texas: March 2010
http://heatherdawnhill.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Hills of Texas. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. A little bad news. Sometimes I think that it is hard being Luke's mom. Then, I realize that sometimes it must be hard being Luke. He has had tummy problems since he was a new born. He is allergic to milk. In addition to the others. Needless to say, I am a little disappointed, heart broken and frustrated. Sunday, March 14, 2010. They had balloon races. We put all of the balloons on the trampoline. They played catch that Pokemon and had silly string batt...I mad...

The Hills of Texas: August 2010

The Hills of Texas. Sunday, August 29, 2010. First Day of School. Luke and Olivia started school this week. Luke is in first grade and Olivia is in 4 year old preschool (a.k.a. pre-K). They were both so excited. Because I am working full-time this year, Mark took them to school. It was kind of hard not to be there for their first day of school but they didn’t seem to miss me. Tuesday, August 10, 2010. A week in Waterton. We squeezed 17 people into am 11 passenger van. We also got to visit Magrath (where ...

The Hills of Texas: September 2010
http://heatherdawnhill.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Hills of Texas. Saturday, September 18, 2010. Luke is very talented! Last Sunday at church, Luke's Sunday School teacher was teaching a lesson about talents. She asked the kids if they had any talents. Luke raised his hand and said, "I have a talent, I can do the Luke. He then stood up and talked through each step in a dance move which is apparently called the Luke. What a ham! I think he should have raised his hand and said "I have a talent, I have charisma.". The Hills of Texas: May 2011

The Hills of Texas. Monday, June 20, 2011. The kids both played soccer with YMCA. Luke’s team was the Blue Sharks and Olivia’s team was the Blue Stars. It took a while for them to get their shirts so they both sported their “Jimmer” shirts. Thanks Grandma! Luke went camping with Mark and the scouts. Luke loves to go and be one of the big boys and the boys are really good about letting him be one of the boys. Here we are each striking a pose, even Marko. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Hills of Texas: November 2011
http://heatherdawnhill.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
The Hills of Texas. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Happy Halloween, Hills! This October we had a blast. Heather made some great costumes this year. Luke wanted to be a spider. And Olivia went out as a glittery. And Olivia helped dad open and gut out the pumpkins. Both kids helped carve the pumpkins; Olivia’s is a cat, and Luke’s is a scary face. Overall a very memorable Halloween. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Random Thoughts by Jen. Last day in Dubuque. Art, or something like unto it. Bob and Sylvia Taylor.

The Hills of Texas. Sunday, November 14, 2010. Grandma and Grandpa are Coming for Christmas! My kids are starting to get excited about Christmas. They are studying the toy catalogs that come in the mail and asking "how long until Christmas? Friday, November 12, 2010. This year we bought season tickets to the Magik Theater, a children's theater downtown. The first play was "Petite Rouge", a Cajun version of "Little Red Riding Hood". It was hilarious and kids loved it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Week Fift...

http://heatherdawnhill.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The Hills of Texas. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Well summer is officially here and we have been trying to squeeze in all of the fun we can. Here are a few of the things we have done so far. Or at least the ones that I remembered to take my camera with me. We took the kids to see Toy Story 3 in 3D. We went bowling for FHE with the Scotts. I don't know if this is blog worthy but, I cleaned up with a whopping 117 points. Friday, June 18, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Random Thoughts by Jen. Hot Mamas Who Cook.

The Hills of Texas: April 2011
http://heatherdawnhill.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
The Hills of Texas. Monday, April 25, 2011. We had invited the Missionaries, David Sticklebault and his girls Hannah, Miriam, and also Kendall Harris over for a nice Easter Dinner on Saturday. Afterwards, we had lots of fun decorating eggs . Mama has a real talent for this. Then on Easter morning we had an egg hunt in the backyard. It seems that the plastic eggs with candy and coins had more appeal than the hardboiled ones we had decorated the night before. Olivia sums it up in the clip below. Easter!
