Monday, 27 August 2012. Spring has finally arrived! These trees were some of the first to start blooming last week. This is a close up of the blossom on the tree above. These little flowers bloom on the street around the corner from us. These are cherry blossoms. Spring in South Africa seems to come over night. One day it is cold and the next day the trees start to blossom, the sun becomes warmer and the grass starts to green up. It is truly a beautiful sight and it feels delightful. A week of service.

The Hills of Texas. Monday, April 25, 2011. We had invited the Missionaries, David Sticklebault and his girls Hannah, Miriam, and also Kendall Harris over for a nice Easter Dinner on Saturday. Afterwards, we had lots of fun decorating eggs . Mama has a real talent for this. Then on Easter morning we had an egg hunt in the backyard. It seems that the plastic eggs with candy and coins had more appeal than the hardboiled ones we had decorated the night before. Olivia sums it up in the clip below. Easter!
