Take Two Bskool: September 2005
http://taketwobskool.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Making history. one application season at at time. Friday, September 30, 2005. There’ll be time enough for countin’. Go - go - go. Bang away, get it done, head down, not starin' forward but lookin' down and gittin' it done. That's the theme these days. Work is hell and apps are here and there are a helluva lot of decisions to make. Targets: Kellogg, Wharton, Harvard. Second Targets: Haas, NYU. Third Targets: I don't know. Well, every interviewer will ask the same question. why MBA. why us? And finally, w...

Take Two Bskool: August 2005
http://taketwobskool.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Making history. one application season at at time. Saturday, August 27, 2005. My vacation and study marathon has been cut a day short to allow for work-related travel. I hit the road at 4:00 am tomorrow to catch a 6:20 departure (with connections) to Boston. I arrive in the glorious land of baked beans at 5:30 pm ET. The early rise and all-day travel is NOT ideal, but I'll certainly have some free time to study. Also, I need that paycheck. Ahem. PupStar78, 7:27 PM. Friday, August 26, 2005. Although I've ...

Take Two Bskool: Vacation for the Mind
http://taketwobskool.blogspot.com/2006/04/vacation-for-mind.html
Making history. one application season at at time. Saturday, April 29, 2006. Vacation for the Mind. Never before have I compared blog posting to essay writing, yet I am compelled to do so today. On more than one occasion over the last two weeks, I have hovered above my laptop, banging out a sentence, deleting it, and banging out another. Ah, screw it, I think. I’ll post later. You get one burnt-out dude. PupStar78, 5:58 PM. Have a good weekend. That does sound like the ultimate vacation. Sometimes yo...

Battle with the "Self": Making a parody of merit
http://defyingoxymorons.blogspot.com/2008/06/making-parody-of-merit.html
Battle with the "Self". Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Making a parody of merit. GB Shaw has got competition now. Our own ministry of HRD is breaking all the barriers and has been keen to make satire out of "merit" issue in the education system present in our country. Decisions, one after another, are hilarious, funny and sadly regressive. Coming back to our HRD ministry's ideology which emphasizes merit in admission procedure, why do these think tanks put this ideology under their bums when they introduce so...
