Spring has sprung – Family style | Homebaked Heidi
https://homebakedheidi.wordpress.com/2016/05/16/spring-has-sprung-family-style
Adventures in life, travel, and design. Spring has sprung – Family style. Spring hit Saskatchewan pretty fast and hard this year. It felt like we went from snow to 30C within a very short period of time. Aside from the risk of drought for farmers, I am loving the warmth! There have been many wiener roasts at Lisa and Ben’s place and a picnic with Kark and Michelle at my place. And my folks came for a quick weekend visit. Lots of time with the nephews and niece! Brunch | Homebaked Heidi

Adventures in life, travel, and design. 201 Fairmount O. – Haven’t been back since their recent facelift, but would consider it for the future. 4489 rue de La Roche – Nice little spot in the Plateau. One of the few places where I ordered something sweet and I recall enjoying it. 922 ave Mont-Royal E. – A popular spot in Montreal, with a multitude of eggs benedict options. I was a bit underwhelmed, but maybe I got my hopes up to high. We went on a weekday to avoid the lines. And opens at 7am everyday.
Spring has sprung – Around the house | Homebaked Heidi
https://homebakedheidi.wordpress.com/2016/05/16/spring-has-sprung-around-the-house
Adventures in life, travel, and design. Spring has sprung – Around the house. I am settling in very nicely in my little house on the Mullet yard. The property is for sale, but who knows how long that will take and I hope to stay here for a while. It’s nearly perfection! Looking back towards my home turf. Soaking up the sunset. New cushions (not the perfect size, but they were gross and free and good enough when recovered in this raw silk fabric). Magoo and I love the sun. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Adventures in life, travel, and design. The end of Winter. February finally passed and hopefully we’re all still standing. This winter has honestly been a breeze (mildest in something close to 60-80 years) but I am still happy to see it exit. I like either mountains of snow or none… So let’s hope this melt continues and we can get on with moving towards summer. Highlights of the past month…. I voted myself “most improved” this season. Lots of mild days with plenty of walks around the property. Trying on ...
