Now What? So, after some decent internet searching and a walk through one of the finest markets in the U.S., it looks like we will have to settle on common mole paste for the beer. However, I do have hope. After a tasting, I can determine if some bitter chocolate is needed. Sounds good, but I’ve had it.

All about new Beer experiences. Laquo; Giving them another try. EBB RIMS Project – Part 2. EBB RIMS Project – Part 1. December 2, 2010 by wd2048. This post begins a series on my current brewery project to create our own RIMS brewing system as much from scratch as possible. In stepping through the process of learning in my home brewing, I have turned the page exclusively to all-grain brewing. I’m not quite there yet, to be honest. So I decided: hey, why not build my own! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. You ar...

All about new Beer experiences. Review: Lagunitas GnarlyWine Olde Style Ale. April 5, 2010 by wd2048. Prior to picking this beer up, I had only ever tried one barleywine style of beer. This came from a business trip to PA, and was Victory. Went for big on alcohol and body, and I think they accomplished what they set out for. April 1, 2010 by wd2048. Starting with my next batch of beer (which will probably be a collaborative event) I am (hopefully) going to have a photographer available, and will be journ...
About | beeringwithWd
https://beeringwithwd.wordpress.com/about
All about new Beer experiences. This is a story of one person’s adventures into brewing beer. Perhaps you are like I used to be, and thought the idea of making your own beer was similar to the making of spirits, such as moonshine. At best frowned upon, and usually illegal. However, upon learning that not only is beer legally produce-able, but tons of fun to make, I embarked on this wonderful adventure. On June 17, 2010 at 8:35 pm. Http:/ www.BeerBloggersConference.org. All about new Beer experiences. Laquo; E.B.B. RIMS Project – Part 2. Social Networks and Beer. Beer Review: Victory Prima Pils. December 9, 2010 by wd2048. Something I have taken for granted since I learned about craft beer is the fact that Pilsner is indeed a beer style, and not just a fizzy yellow beer that is mass-produced. A TRUE pilsner will both satisfy and have you coming back for more at the same time. Then I heard the guys over on the Hop-Cast. Right away from the pour, you know that this isn...

All about new Beer experiences. Laquo; June excursion…. EBB RIMS Project – Part 1. Giving them another try. October 25, 2010 by wd2048. Let me start by saying I am not really a fan of New Belgium. Sorry, no offense guys. Every time I get a chance to try something from these guys, all that is available is Fat Tire. A lot of people seem to like this offering. Sadly, I am not one. New Belgium, you have redeemed yourself. I can’t wait to try more! On November 6, 2010 at 12:11 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

And with that, the hashtag heard round the twitterverse, we can sum up the movement to make the beer community digital. Think about it: when you have found a beer that you like, what do you want to do? What about the beers you don’t know? What about the releases you don’t know about? Or any other brewery that holds spectacular release parties. What then? You need a hype engine.

All about new Beer experiences. Laquo; Why do we do it? Giving them another try. August 24, 2010 by wd2048. For our anniversary, my wife and I spent some time in St. Louis. One stop that really blew my mind was a stop at the Schlafly. Bottleworks. Wonderful things are happening at that place, I tell ya. Once we got inside, you just couldn’t wipe the grin off my face. I had never actually toured a brewery, and I’m glad the first one I visited was Schlafly. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Drink with the Wench.
