Zombie Beer Geeks: February 2010
http://zombiebeergeeks.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 11, 2010. Blueberry Oatmeal Stout and a New Gadget. 8oz-55L British Crystal Malt. 2oz-East Kent Goldings (I used American Goldings. That’s what the LHBS had on hand). 35 oz-Wyeast Scottish Ale yeast slurry (The yeast was saved over from another batch. I actually pitched more like 4.5oz just to be safe). 1-Roast the Oats in the oven for 75 minutes on 325. Stir every 15 min or so. 3-Sparge the grains/oats with half a gallon of 150 degree water. 7-Cool wort and pitch yeast.

DeKoninck & Lange Wapper | Cock Ale
https://cockale.wordpress.com/2009/01/31/dekoninck-lange-wapper
Cantankerous Beer Knowledge, Gutted, Flayed, and Bottle Conditioned. DeKoninck and Lange Wapper. January 31, 2009. Constantly daydreaming about Belgium and her fabulous bounty takes its toll. Your beard grows unabated, your family becomes increasingly concerned of the ragged gleam in your eyes, and like Cheever’s ill-fated swimmer. I’m reminded of Lange Whapper. Lange Wapper, appearing menacingly to a couple of hapless souls, notice the jug in the hand of the guy on the left. OG = 1.053. FG = 1.013.

Homebrew Junkie: 7/25/10 - 8/1/10

Wednesday, July 28, 2010. To the Readers, a question or two. Ok, so, Homebrew Junkie is in a little bit of a funk right now. I wanted to ask all the readers what it is that you have questions about when it comes to brewing beer? Please leave these questions in the comment area and I'll go through them and begin answering them in the "ass-ton" way that I do! Don't hold back and I won't either. Can you brew with dirty socks? You betcha. You can use them for steeping or for dry hopping in the keg!

Zombie Beer Geeks: December 2009
http://zombiebeergeeks.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 4, 2009. I saw this at the local Polish supermarket by my house. I couldn't pass up a big bottle of baltic. Porter for only $3. It pours nice and dark with a good solid head. Dried fruit, caramel, malt mixed with coffee flavors make this very drinkable. The beer is quite light for a 8.5% baltic. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
