Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Trophy and Valentine box. Wyatt made this awesome video for the Reflections Contest. He did a great job - by himself! He was selected to move on from his school, and also chosen within the district and region (yes, that is THREE separate awards! This is his trophy from winning regionals. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Our sweet dog of 6 years passed away at the beginning of May. We were so heartbroken. In honor of Tilly, Tyson gave a great lesson on bodies and spirits, our earth life and the after life. We buried her body in the backyard and the kids made a special headstone for her. Our nieces and nephew also painted rocks to place on her grave. They loved her like their own :). And we all mourned her passing together. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, January 17, 2013. Today we popped popcorn over the stove in one of those jiffy pop pans that blow up as it pops. Pretty cool. The kids ran behind the counter and hid yelling, "It's going to explode! Wyatt even dragged Lily in her high chair away. While eating it, Wyatt said, "Mom, you're the best cook." I just thanked him. While eating it, Colton's mind started turning. He said, "Mom, if bullies come here and they punch you. I'll throw popcorn at them." I just thanked him. The Big Red Bike.

Thursday, May 24, 2012. May 3rd was our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Wow, time flies when you're having fun. Before you're married, and especially before you have kids, your view of time is a little different. You think that 5 years is so far away. And 10 was kind of unimaginable. But after reaching adulthood and having kids, time really flies! You do things for extended periods of time that you use to think you'd never do for a DAY!
