Cooking in our Kitchen! Peanut Butter Cake….Oh Yea! So another of our cooking adventures this past weekend was our tried and true recipe for smoked beef jerky. This is “THE BEST” beef jerky you will ever eat! Joe calls it beef candy! Everyone in our family and all our friends just love it when he makes this and there is never enough, no matter how much we make. We used a 5 Lb beef roast and Joe cut it into strips while I made the marinade. 2 cups brown sugar (firmly packed). 1 teaspoon onion powder.

I hope you enjoy! 2 cups all-purpose flour. 3 teaspoons baking powder. 1 tablespoon lemon extract. 1/4 cup butter, melted. 1 Preheat oven to 400 .
