http://www.homegrownhearts.com/journal.htm
We began "doing school" on December 21, 2001 at my 3 year old son's insistence. I kept track of what we did each day for Preschool and transferred this information to an online calendar, which you can view HERE. Depending on your own child's level, these activities could also be appropriate for Kindergarten and lower elementary ages with some adaptation. Here are some links to things we did before December, 2001. These are in the "preschool" category. If You Give a Mouse A Cookie Week. Punching the Clock...

I found this great household management site recently and it’s been working really well for us. I even wrote a ‘tip’ for my friend’s newsletter, Homeschooler’s Notebook. Since it’s already written up, I thought I might as well share it here on my blog, too! I have recently [.]. I’m Late, I’m Late… (NICHE attendees). Written By: Jodi on June 22, 2011. About Homegrown Hearts - Christian Homeschooling Resources, Free Worksheets, Free Activities, Home Education Links, Articles
http://www.homegrownhearts.com/about.htm
We had decided not to start schooling with our oldest too early because we feel it's important to let our kids be kids and learn when they're ready. He had other ideas, however. He finally wore us down with his pleading to learn to read and 'do school' at age 3 1/2 - how could we resist a child who was begging to learn? We tried to limit what we did each day for 'pre-school' to just a few things in under a half hour. He loved it! My plan is to build this site up over time to include a wide range of items...

Sharing my experiences of life with OCD. When Doubt is a Disorder. June 14, 2015. July 9, 2015. Having lived with OCD for quite some time and experienced a lot of diverse obsessional themes, I can tell you that any persistent or long held obsession is most certainly going to create a painful and debilitating level of anxiety which is often accompanied by depression. Which, is what brings me to the point of this blog: Religious OCD or Scrupulosity may not seem like a big deal to a person with OCD who.

This is a picture my daughter Noelle did when she was nine or ten. This is the kind of art she liked to do, colorful and from her heart. she was never much for copying .
