Got up at 5.40am to get a lift up to the lighthouse, unfortunately it wasn’t a great sunrise as it had been raining, however it was still worth getting up for. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Though the weather hasn’t been the greatest whilst here (Whoever said that the sun always shines in Oz? I do think that Melbourne is a terrific city, safe and easy to get around. I feel that I have met some really nice people who I hope I will keep in contact. I hope that when any of them ever come over to England I am able to make them feel as welcome as they have made me feel. OK so we have a plan already to solve that! Friday, April 28, 2006. Thursday 27th April, Marconi Ericsson Celebration Event. Kelly and I had an invite to go to the Hush Bar, Level 3, Melbourne Central Shopping Centre with the rest of the team. Friday, July 14, 2006. My flight was at 9.15pm. The first stage from Sydney to Dubai , approx 14 hours, then Dubai to Heathrow, 7 hours.tried sleeping on th plane but not that successful.watched a few movies.took it easy. Landed 12:15pm, 12th July. Chilled out at home a while before going up mum and dads - Leaving my house which had looked so tidy looking like a bomb had hit it!
