Nevada Home Retention Program. The Nevada Home Retention Program, administered by the nonprofit organization Home Means Nevada, was created to assist individuals and families at risk of losing their homes. The goal of the program is to stabilize home ownership in neighborhoods by bringing principal mortgage balances to market value, giving the homeowner an opportunity to begin building equity.
