Then There Were Three. World Famous San Diego Zoo. After two trips to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, we thought it was time to head to the main zoo. So today we drove down to Balboa Park to visit our animal friends. While not as big as the safari park, the zoo is pretty massive, especially when you have little kids that want to be carried. Sunday, February 22, 2015. Lyla's Birthday started with the donut and balloon! After all the festivities she had to endure for Mac last month she was super anxious for her own birthday. We played during the day, and that night we met with the family at Brick Oven to celebrate. After dinner we went back to our house for presents and cake. She got this purse and tiara from Aunt Cindy and loved it! Her cute little friends that came. Kate, Leila, Miles and Gavin. Pizza, cake and ice cream afterward.

Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Monday, January 23, 2012. After Ellie was born we had 3 weeks straight of help. My mom and dad came, then Cindy, and lastly Sam's mom. It was truly fantastic! They played all day with James, cleaned, cooked, let me nap, really everything! We are so thankful for them and love them so much! We couldn't have survived the first few weeks without them! Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Yes, I know that Mother's Day was a long time ago. We bought our first home in the beginning of May and Sam did a few renovations and then we moved into it in the end of May. I LOVE it! But that is for another blog post. However, I have learned from moving into our place that I am not good at keeping a place triple the size of our apt clean and keeping up with 2 kids. I'm just not! We sure miss you guys! Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Sunday, September 2, 2012. July 16 was James' 3rd birthday! I can't believe my baby is 3! This is the first year he really knew it was his birthday that he was going to have a party! For his party we had some of his friends over, a bbq, swimming, and a bounce house. Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. V-day this year didn't go exactly as planned. The day before Valentine' s Day, at the grocery store, they had samples of chocolate covered strawberries. I couldn't resist and bought the stuff to make them.
