The Homeschool Chronicles: October 2007

http://www.homeschoolchronicles.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

A journal of our learning. Wednesday, October 10, 2007. School keeps us busy! Wow I can't believe it's been over a week since I've posted something new. The time just flies by! Last week I was sick with a cold and Jager got another mysterious fever and didn't feel good for a couple days. Needless to say we didn't get as much done for school as I would have liked, but we did manage to get some learning in every day. Eden's Algebra is going great! We haven't done these in a while! So we taped it up and mad...

http://www.homeschoolchronicles.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

A journal of our learning. Monday, October 6, 2008. Butterflies are among us! So school went great this week! Joey and I are slowly working our way through Beowulf. The story is amazing and the lanuguage is so fun to read. I'm so suprised by my son's ability to understand what it's saying. He's so smart! Our team won, which made it even better and against the other hometown high school to boot! It's been a good school week! Posted by Melly Lea. Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Or Jade's paintings before he le...

The Homeschool Chronicles: Progress Report

http://www.homeschoolchronicles.blogspot.com/2008/09/progress-report.html

A journal of our learning. Monday, September 15, 2008. Eden's progress report showed up in the mail on Saturday. As I opened it I realized what it was and I was instantly nervous. Here it was.the proof that homeschooling her was a good idea or not. Actually that's not totally true. Even if her grades weren't great I still feel that Eden found her confidence while being home schooled. She would never have been able to discover that if she had been harassed. Posted by Melly Lea. Share with us as we wander through out Waldorf Homeschooling days. We will play, learn, paint, knit, cook and enjoy. Nothing brings learning alive like Waldorf Education! Friday, September 14, 2007. Version of Bug's Life! The picture above is a mad face Jack made with nuts. I was quite impressed by his creativity. He sees things that will work together much better than I do. I guess he's more creative? Or just young enough not to have his ability to see more than is there jaundiced. Have a very nutty day!

It was actually worse; she had sprayed the Windex on. Their fur was blue and soaked. I asked her why she did that, and she replied earnestly, "I was trying to make them go to sleep!
