As part of our fall festivities with our local community, we attended an event called Prairie Days at a local conservation center. My mom and siblings came for a parade that morning, and after lunch we all went to Prairie Days. Several tried a Civil War-era saddle:. Now, she is my spunky, goofy, loving, stubborn, determined. Little two year old. It was a busy day of travel, so we made breakfast our special time. This is a journal of the fun and exciting things we get to do while learning at home:). Monday, May 14, 2012. I LOOOOOOVE LOOOOOOVE LOOOOVE fresh herbs! Last year I planted several types of herbs - rosemary, thyme, cilantro, basil, lovage, oregano, mint - but I never really knew what to do with them other than smell them. This year I am truely learning how to cook with them.
