Maximizing Learning Potential: January 2010
http://homeschoolmomofthree.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
I created this blog so that long-distance relatives could connect with our daily lives. Friday, January 15, 2010. Field Trip to China. Hunter got four Scholastic News' workbooks in the mail yesterday. He read three of them to me yesterday, and was reading the final one this morning. The topic was "China." After hearing that pandas live in China, he wanted to take a trip! That's the beauty of doing integrated units. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Written by Haley (5-15-09). I told the kids today that we would have a bubble gum day IF they could convince me that it would be educational and a learning experience. Rachel and I have a ton of fun ideas and are planning a great day for the kids! I was blown away at all the ideas Maddie and Haley were coming up with! These are a few of their ideas: (many of which I hadn't even thought of!

We're having a great summer of fun and learning! Or, could be that she has better deducting skills. My goal for the kids is to continue to foster their love for learning. http://homeschoolmomofthree.blogspot.com/2010/08/literary-camp-wrapping-up.html
I created this blog so that long-distance relatives could connect with our daily lives. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Literary Camp Wrapping Up. Literary camp is finished, but my girls' love for writing is just beginning. I have been so thrilled to see Haley and Maddie write (on their own) in their journals over the past two weeks. They have worked so hard on all their projects and actually say they LOVE to write now :) It was a huge success. I have included a couple more of the girls' projects below. The kin...

Home-school Mom Musings | Yes! God has a plan for you!
God has a plan for you! Because, amazingly enough, I can’t do everything…. February 11, 2015. I know. It was a shock to me too. Oh well. I never said I was wonder woman. Anyway… to that end, I am doing something a little bit crazy. I am merging my blogs. When all is said and done, I plan to have only five to keep track of – instead of 11. YEESH! I’m tired and I really need to slim down my tasks. So – this is what I will be left with to keep track of. Have a great day and God Bless! June 22, 2014. But do ...

But I also feel now like I have really neglected a very special way to keep memories here on the blog. So I think it’s time for a photo update. For one thing…. we are all a bit older…. And that is the past year and a half in a very small nutshell! March 1, 2012. Come see my Farmer’s Market blog! January 20, 2012.

Homeschool Mom Remembers | Just another WordPress.com site
Just another WordPress.com site. January 31, 2014. Why does life have to be so….’changey’. Yesterday was good enough. Even five years ago was quite fine. But time is heartless and it. Never stops to take a breath. Or smell the roses it brings to bloom. I need to sit awhile and. Live old memories. I don’t need new ones;. At least not right now. So give me space and I’ll close my eyes. And go back to when the roses were. Young….newly planted and. Being watered. Forgetting the thorns. January 14, 2014.
