We provide families with support and guidance through the everyday challenges faced when raising children. We recruit and train volunteers, who are usually parents themselves, and then match the volunteer with a family. Often, parents find themselves unable to cope with the stresses of everyday life when raising a child. We are a lifeline to many local families. Our volunteers are experienced local parents who wish to help other parents. Scheme was set up in 1973. What we offer our families.

Are valued as a provider of non-judgemental support for families, and in the provision of high quality volunteer training. We have close links with Bolton Council's Safeguarding Team. And Public Health Team. We receive our core funding from Bolton Council. We have also previously received funding from Lloyds TSB. And The Henry Smith Foundation. We were honoured to be the 2011 charity of the year.
