Home-Start Glasgow North

Home-Start Glasgow North is a voluntary organisation set up to increase the confidence and independence of families with at least one child under five years old who are experiencing difficulties. We support families over the North West and North East areas of Glasgow, having recently expanded to cover the North East following the receipt of statutory funding for the purpose. We select, train and support volunteers who:. Visit families in their own homes. Offer support, friendship and practical assistance.

Home Start Glasgow South

Is a voluntary organisation where volunteers offer regular support, friendship and practical help to young families under stress in their own homes, helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown, and emphasising the pleasures of family life. We provide breathing space for parents and elbow room for many professional workers who refer families with at least one child under eight. Our office is in Pollokshaws however we cover the entire Southside of Glasgow. Scottish Charity No. SC 030131.
