We started out with seven 22 ft Tamarack poles and two 20 ft Tamarack poles -each to be buried four feet. Nine tamarack poles with bark still on. To get you thinking. Using a Bobcat and auger attachment to drill holes for hops trellis. With the chain near the center, the heavier, wider pole butts caused the poles to right themselves with the bottom end down as the Bobcat lifted them.
