http://preppymommy2.blogspot.com/2010/09/preppy-boy-back-to-preschool.html
Because everyone looks better in plaid! Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Preppy Boy - Back to Preschool! After patiently waiting for two weeks while Sissy had all the fun, Preppy Boy started his second year of preschool on Monday! Or, as he likes to call it, "Big-Boy School! He will go 3 days a week, and is very excited (as you can tell from the picture! He is clearly not as excited about posing for pictures as his sister, but that's alright - at least I got one good one for the scrapbook! Stay-at-home Mom t...

Preppy Mommy: Good-bye, long hair!!
http://preppymommy2.blogspot.com/2010/09/good-bye-long-hair.html
Because everyone looks better in plaid! Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Good-bye, long hair! We are so proud of our Preppy Girl! She has been growing her hair since about kindergarten. Not really even sure why, exactly - we grew her bangs out, and then it just started from there! We've had the ends trimmed a few times in the past two years, but that's been about it. Over the summer, she decided that she wanted to cut her hair.SHORT! My good friend and stylist, Amy, did the honors! Look at all that hair!

Preppy Mommy: May 2008
http://preppymommy2.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Because everyone looks better in plaid! Tuesday, May 20, 2008. In the kitchen with velcro monkey. So I saw some fresh cherries at the grocery store, and thought they looked really good. My kids are very good eaters (Andrew's allergy issues aside.) but I'm always looking for different, healthy foods for them to try. The sign above the cherries said something like $3.49/lb, so I grabbed a bag, thinking no way is this more than a pound. Let me see, Mommy - let me see! With a toddler hanging off my leg!

BooBearyBinks: Thrifting finds: vintage lace
http://boobearybinks.blogspot.com/2010/01/thrifting-finds-vintage-lace.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. Thrifting finds: vintage lace. Twice a week while Beary is in preschool, the littles and I get to head to our favorite thrift stores to see what's new. There usually isn't much, as the town only has 13,000 people and we only have two major thrift stores. And the prices! PUHlease. I once found a Mrs. Butterworth syrup jar, cleaned out and label removed, marked at $2.99. Serious! If I can kick this sinus infection with enough time to create! The Queen of Fifty Cents. I havent foun...

Saturday, March 27, 2010. I've been on a roll with the hair clippie making! I got sick of putting boring old clips in the girls' hair so I've been cranking out clip after clip. Here are a few I've made! With three little girls, I think I need a lot more still! March 27, 2010 at 6:15 PM. These are cute. So fun to make and such a nice effect. And everyone will be asking, where did you buy them? March 30, 2010 at 1:25 PM. Cute clippies, btw. Happy spring! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Mama Made It.

http://boobearybinks.blogspot.com/2010/03/little-lambie-lovey-face.html
Thursday, March 25, 2010. I've been searching for something Easter-y to make the chicklets for their baskets. I like to try and make something homemade for each major holiday, and this year I'm a bit behind. (although I guess I did make some resurrection eggs the other day.) When I saw this. BooBearyBinks: The "Daddy's Girl" top
http://boobearybinks.blogspot.com/2010/04/daddys-girl-shirt.html
Monday, April 5, 2010. The "Daddy's Girl" top. When I first saw the Ashton top. On Brown Paper Packages (love this blog! I had to make it right away! I picked up the men's shirt for $1.00 at the thrift store. I love the colors on Beary! The tutorial is really simple, and this top only took ONE DAY! I didn't have any FOE, so I made some simple tie straps out of extra shirt material. If you're liking the look, I cut four straps at 2.25" x 13" and sewed with a 1/4" seam. See the matching hair ribbons? April...

BooBearyBinks: Cherry Mania!
http://boobearybinks.blogspot.com/2010/04/cherry-mania.html
Monday, April 26, 2010. Visited my little brother, home on leave from Afghanistan, accomplished a lot of yard work, sewed like crazy, and couldn't post any or it because of my camera! Finally figured out it was the finicky battery charger, but it was frustrating to say the least. I really wanted a vintage look to them, so I made peasant bodices and changed up the skirts a bit. Btw, LOVE portabellopixie's. I used the "claire" pattern this time. Seriously, how does THAT happen? Here are some pics! The Dadd...

BooBearyBinks: February 2010
http://boobearybinks.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 26, 2010. I *think* Beary's room is almost done! We got rid of an old, boring bunkbed and made her this bed from knockoffwood's plans. Soooowe'll be more patient on our next project. We added metal brackets to the inside corners of the frame to solidify it more. Also, we fit dowel ends into the screw holes for a more finished look. (and to prevent random little toys from getting shoved in the holes). This is a heavy, substantial bed! Doesn't the princess canopy from this post. I picked u...
