As such the views expressed in this blog are those of Erin Blackmore and not those of Project Trust.). We’ve been making the most of our final weekends in Honduras (eeeek! I can see ...

The Silver Lining of the Optimistic Pessimist | The basis of optimism is sheer terror. Pessimist: One who, when he has the choice of two evils, chooses both. – Oscar Wilde
The basis of optimism is sheer terror. Pessimist: One who, when he has the choice of two evils, chooses both. – Oscar Wilde. The Silver Lining of the Optimistic Pessimist. There was a person that I used to be. That person was a cheater, liar, mean and hateful, spiteful and vengeful, and all kinds of other things. I was not a good anything. Now, after being settled at home for a few weeks, I am able to look back and reflect on a few things. Now, I am not saying those few weeks were a thorn in my side. But the itinerating process for a missionary can be a thorn. We are heading back to Honduras!

Honduran hiatus | Em’s musings from the isthmus
Em’s musings from the isthmus. Here I am, safely returned over those peaks from a journey far more beautiful and strange than anything I had hoped for or imagined how is it that this safe return brings such regret? I’ve been back in Australia for more than a month and. Write final blog post. Has been on my ‘to do’ list ever since I landed at Sydney airport. Another item on the ‘to do’ list is. Upload and organise trip photos. Trip of a lifetime. We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming. While I’...

Honduran Hunter
Thursday, May 31, 2012. Oh man, should probably update this thing. Thumbs up" in the waves at Cedeño. The boys take a break from swimming. Candlelight procession to mass on Easter. Whole Ranch processed to church with candlelight. And attended a 4 AM vigil mass as the sun rose. San Lucas with their South Soccer shirts! They subsequently went absolutely crazy. I think I took over 100 photos of them in their new shirts that night being ridiculous. I also recently got to spend some quality time with Chele, ...
