These are the national guards marching through the King's Palace in Bangkok. Look at this dragon tale with the gods' heads on the paw. It's so freakish but mommy said it's supposed to keep the evil spirits away or something? If I was an evil spirit, I would definitely stay away; I think that tail is freakish too.

Saturday, May 17, 2008. This is my grandma and grandpa. They live here in Hong Kong. They asked us if we wanted to have lunch near yeh yeh's office ("yeh yeh" = grandpa). My yeh yeh is turning 80 and we are going to go on a cruise in the summer and celebrate with them after we go to summer school. My favorite food here is the 叉燒包 (pork buns). Yummy for my tummy. Saturday, May 17, 2008. Riding the "taxi" from the past! We saw the old man with this pulling taxi that the people used to ride a long time ago in Hong Kong. Daddy said we could ride on it and take pictures with him. It felt very freaky when he tipped the cart. I thought I was gonna fall off. Have you seen a lot of people powered taxis? Saturday, May 17, 2008. The PEAK tram ride. We took a tram to the top of Hong kong. When we got to the tipy tipy top it was pretty hot because we where close to the sun. When we went back down, we had to on lots and lots of escalators and my mom got a little bit confused because the people in Hong Kong walk on the left side and not the right side. That sounds a bit scary to be so high up, but also a great experience to have such a great view of Hong Kong. Thanks for starting a blog! The PEAK tram ride.
