On Sunday the 5th of April we left France for Venice, Italy. It was quite a long drive, poor dad, about 5-6 hours long. We were so close to Venice when we missed an exit, and the next exit was about 20 minutes later. The Hong family are off to DC and Beyond for a year! Read on as their long and winding journey unfolds. Saturday, April 4, 2009. RTA - NICE, FRANCE - APRIL 4-5. On Saturday the 4th of April we disembarked the Costa Mediterranea in Savona after our excellent eighteen day cruise. We caught a taxi to Genova's airport to collect our hire car, and dad drove us to Nice, France, about 2 and a half hours drive. We slept early to get ready for the long drive to Venice, Italy the next day. The Promenade des Anglais.

On Saturday the 31st of January we celebrated my 13th birthday by skiing at Whitetail. Since it was my birthday, dad bought a cake with us to Whitetail and we took a picture of us, the cake and the snow. Even though going skiing was a gift itself, dad and mum bought me a laptop. Everything is pretty much back to normal (since we've been back nearly a month), most of the boxes have been unpacked and we've all started school and work.
