Hey Julie
http://heyjulie.blogspot.com/2007/01/you-guessed-it-more-spinning.html
Monday, January 08, 2007. You guessed it, more spinning. Really, I do still knit. I have five things on the needles. But this is what captured my attention this past week:. I thought I might spin it a little bulkier than usual, but it had other ideas. The pictures really don't do it justice. I was so taken by the colors the whole time I was spinning it. Look, we match:. 100g, 150 yds, 11wpi. Posted by Julie at 10:39 PM. I love the colour of that yarn! Rings, buttons, et al. My own private hell.

Hey Julie

Wednesday, February 21, 2007. I've had this half-spun tussah silk sitting around for a while.and imagine my delight when I pulled it out and realized that it matches the Spunky BFL I got for Christmas. I'm going to ply them together. I'm finding the same thing with handspun.sure, handspun hats and fingerless gloves are great, but I'd like the option of making something more substantial. Who knows what kind of yardage I'll end up with on this one.but it sure is gonna be beautiful. It's so beautiful Julie!

Friday, August 26, 2005. FO #25. Clog-a saga. Ugh Clogs. Love the pattern, but the felting process was really, really frustrating. They were pretty comfy, and fit me rather well unfelted. But these were the kids' clogs, silly! Wonder who they'll fit? Children's Fiber Trends Clogs, size large. Knit in Marr Haven wool.

Monday, January 24, 2005. My sister and I had matching ponchos when we were growing up. Major nostalgia for me.so I want to make matching ponchos for my girls. How handy that a baisc poncho is just two big rectangles sewn together. Bernat Soft Boucle hides the seams well too. I started the matching one the next week, but it's sooooo boring. Five months later I've yet to finish it. Posted by Julie at 1:03 PM. Monday, January 10, 2005. Crud, can't find the picture.). Posted by Julie at 1:01 PM. I tend to s...

Friday, May 27, 2005. Twisty edge hat, in KnitPicks Merino Style, on #6 needles. When I started it, I wasn't sure who it would be for. Then I got a birth announcement in the mail. Woo! Posted by Julie at 8:00 PM. Tuesday, May 24, 2005. When I first read the directions, this confounded me. But with needles in hand, it made perfect sense! I love it and can't wait to use it on something! Posted by Julie at 1:26 PM. Monday, May 23, 2005. Posted by Julie at 1:16 PM. Thursday, May 19, 2005. Friday, May 06, 2005.
