http://www.karenscolorfulcreations.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
An ongoing tale of my stitching obsession. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Last weekend was one busy weekend! We decided to go to for a day trip which coincidentally happened to be where my LNS is. so, of course I stopped in. I picked out a counted canvas pattern called Tiptoe Through the Tulips and all of the stuff I needed for it. I love doing these needlepoint designs, but my oh my the supplies for them add up quickly. As you can see, I was so happy to get this that I started it as soon as I got home. It's b...

Karen's Colourful Creations: Catch up
http://www.karenscolorfulcreations.com/2015/04/catch-up.html
An ongoing tale of my stitching obsession. Thursday, April 23, 2015. It's been awhile, I know. I have been severely neglecting my blog and for the most part stitching in general. Recently, I picked up a small little ornament that I was working on before Christmas and I enjoyed placing the simple Xs on this simple little design and it's all sort of snowballed since then. I've finished this cute little Prairie Schooler design a couple of weeks ago. Just Cross Stitch Christmas Issue 2010. The leaves are act...

An ongoing tale of my stitching obsession. Thursday, August 27, 2015. A little of this . and a little of that. This summer is just flying by. It's hard to believe it's August already and it seems too soon for leaves to be changing colour, but I found some this morning! The weather this past week has been absolutely dreadfully hot hot hot. Blue Jay in the bird bath re-purposed as a bird feeder. Squirrelly - I think I have a dozen of these little guys running around. I've also worked on Summer Tree of Stit...

http://www.karenscolorfulcreations.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
An ongoing tale of my stitching obsession. Monday, June 29, 2015. Finally - a finish! Yup, that's right. I managed to stick with something long enough to finish it off! The design that kept me going long into the night was Quaker Gardens by Blackbird Designs. I was determined to finish it last night before going to bed. Well, Quaker Garden's time to shine finally came around and I enjoyed stitching every little bit of it. Recommended threads and fabric. Til next time,. Links to this post. On the Dry Side.

Beth's Blog: Tardy second August WIPocalypse update
http://bethsblogger-beth.blogspot.com/2012/09/tardy-second-august-wipocalypse-update.html
This Will Be The Year". Friday, September 7, 2012. Tardy second August WIPocalypse update. Again, this post will not show much progress on my stitching, but I do have some surprisingly good news. As I have previously said, I entered some of my pieces in the State Fair this year to help fill the area for Cross Stitched pieces. To my shock, out of the three pieces that I entered, I won two ribbons! I can't tell you how amazed I was to win one! Designers there showing off their stuff. How cool is that?

Beth's Blog: I've been missing again June WIPocalypse
http://bethsblogger-beth.blogspot.com/2012/06/ive-been-missing-again-june-wipocalypse.html
This Will Be The Year". Monday, June 4, 2012. I've been missing again June WIPocalypse. All that is to explain the pitiful amount of stitching I have done. Here is the report: On my Welcome Friends sampler, I finished the flowering vine going through the large Welcome letters and worked the border on the left side down a little. I am going to stitch the rest of the message next. I didn't make any progress on Beachy Mood - just wasn't in the mood to stitch on this one. I hope to work on it some in Jume.

Lisa's Cross Stitch Paradise: November 2011
http://lisascrossstitchparadise.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Lisa's Cross Stitch Paradise. Sunday, November 27, 2011. A Sweet Thank You From Sally. About a month or so ago I had read Sally. I was happy to help a fellow stitcher out and sent Sally enough to make a couple of pouches and needle books. She did a beautiful job on them! Go take a look at her blog! As a Thank You for sending her the fabric I received this lovely ornament in the mail the other day! Sally stitched LHN's Winter Sampler on 32ct Amber linen. She also added our initials on the back! I stitched...
