April 12, 2015. This morning was perfect for the Hoosier Half Marathon. One reason I loved the race so much was probably because I finished about 20 minutes faster than I was anticipating (I had low expectations), and I sustained a steady pace throughout. Anytime my pace is relatively steady for such a long run, I feel victorious. I also liked that we could pick up our shirts several weeks early at the Indiana Running Company. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. 2014 Goals and A Big Announcement! Nope, not pregnant. I know that's what you were thinking! Sorry The announcement is still exciting, though! So 2013 was a pretty big year for me. I'm down 40 pounds and I think it's pretty safe to say I'm officially a runner - which is still kind of weird! Here are my stats from this year, via my Nike app. Longest run: 7 miles. Highest mileage month: November - 44.3 miles. But with a new year comes new goals, right? I seriously can't wait.
