There's hope for self-injurers. For many years I felt like there was no way to find hope. I lived a life of inner pain, chaos, instability, secrecy, hopelessness and despair. I was a cutter; was chronically depressed; attempted suicide; had a lot of anger; hated life; was in and out of various psych hospitals, group homes, and shelters. I'm blogging this because I have found hope, and I sincerely want to share it with others who also feel hopeless and think there is no possibility of change.

I could so relate to the words of this song, and it's such a comfort when you come to the words of the chorus and the second verse.
