Hope Africa, Inc. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Noble has been going to the hospital to see the contractor because he suffered a stroke but last week he was released to go home. He has managed to be home and resting and still get the workers to begin to dig the trenches for the foundation of the elementary school. It is amazing to see all of this work done by hand without heavy equipment or a backhoe. They are excited to have the work, excited that children will have homes and an education. Hope Africa, Inc.

Solo wrote to me and told me that his grandmother had passed away and that he had obtained a coffin by having all of his friends scrape together 80 cedes and a promise to the provider that he would pay him back the balance of the coffin. On August 17, 2011, I went to speak to the Art Educators of Duvall County to discuss the vision of Hopes and Dreams Art Exhibition and to request participation in this endeavor. I learned so much listening to the first two speakers that I was amazed at the impact that Art has on a child. A study was done in Florida that demonstrated an incredible increase in grades and SAT Scores on those that had four years of art studies during their school years.
