Our Board of Directors. Prevention and Other Services. Our specially trained therapists work with youth, children, women, and men through individual, group, and family therapy. Using a variety of interventions including art therapy, play therapy, and cognitive behavioral intervention, we are able to work with even the youngest children. As a result of a committed group of Hall County DFCS workers recognizing the unique needs of child victims of sexual abuse, a community needs assessment was undertaken with participation from judges, DAs, community mental health workers, and law enforcement officials. The results of their study pointed to a need for specialized services in the community for children who have been sexually abused. Our Board of Directors.
