When Jeff and Katie called at 5:30am a chill went down my spine; we knew Alex was gone. As Alex spent his last day with us he was surrounded by family caring for him and tending to his every need. Alex passed away gently, at peace, and without pain. Let us remember Alex for the Joy he brought. Let us remember Alex for his Intelligence. And, of course, he excelled in them.
