I am NOT your "typical teen". Friday, January 8, 2010. This is a skirt I whipped up the other day. I needed another nice skirt that would mach most of my nice tops and I had gotten the fabric previously at the thrift store! This was my first pattern with a waist band and also my first with an invisible zipper! Thankfully they both went on smoothly! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am NOT your "typical teen". Tuesday, October 20, 2009. This is a baby carrier I made for fun (we already had 2). The pattern was very easy, I think it would be fine for beginners too! If your more experienced and crafty you can add more detail and even a little cell phone pocket for fun on one of the straps (just an idea, use your imagination and you could do ANYTHING! I found the basic (free) instructions. But I didn't make the interchangeable panels part. We have had 29 in the past year.

Sew What!: September 2009
http://sewwhat-ashley.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
I am NOT your "typical teen". Thursday, September 3, 2009. I made this American girl doll dress for my little sister (all of us girls have several Amer. girl dolls). I totally changed the pattern to make this dress and was very happy with the finished product. The style of this dress (I would say) is around the late 1800's and is a walking or riding style dress (because of the shorter length). I also had some fun making a small bustle to go in the back ;-). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Fall and Fair time!

I Am A Service Dog. Designing A 2012 Service Dog Calendar – My Brain Therapy Project. As a person with disabilities, I’ve spent years where someone else is caring for me. Now, I have a project where I am able to be the one reaching out to care. I’m so excited to share this brain therapy project, a service dog calendar, I spent 6 months designing. That will be able to help others. It gives me great joy to raise funds for Paw Pals Assistance Dogs so I can help others. Via the use of this calendar project.
