A year ago today.July 2013. It is so hard to believe a year has passed since Evie first heard sounds! 1 Does Evie have enough access to sound to enable speech and can she discriminate between sounds or are they all the same to her? 2 Can we just rely on an auditory approach with Evie or will she also need signing? 3 Are we wanting Evie to learn to speak for her or for us?
