Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Today we rotated projects so that everyone will get the opportunity to experience all of the wonderful things Hope for Honduras is doing here. The kitchen group made beans and rice for the kids who attend school at Hope for Honduras and to pass out to the kids on the street. They also helped prepare a delicious lunch of homemade tostadas, chicken, pico de gallo, and all the fixins'. Monday, June 24, 2013. Happy Monday, everyone! Our day started off bright and early (no, really- the sun rises before 5 am here! And we had a filling breakfast before heading out to the foundation for the day's work. Thursday, June 27, 2013. After working off and on all week on bagging 4500 pounds of food, we were blessed to the Lord's hands and feet today and pass it all out to families in need. Had to do that or anything. These people were lucky to have enough space outside their house to have a kitchen. Most people have their kitchen inside.
