Christmas Party Club 2014. How the main road heading into town gets closed the last Saturday before Christmas is beyond me, but it happened. One school walked the entire way. I had always felt that the teens who would come to camp would be the future of Madagascar—the pastors, leaders and missionaries of the next generation. Honduras got to be the host country which created a lot of excitement here (and of course, lots of work! It was neat to see all the registrations come in and in the end we had almost 200 people in attendance! It was held in the city of San Pedro Sula. There is a hymn that is sung recounting his deeds and the children dress up in native clothes. Many schools have a contest and choose the "Indio bonito" and "India bonita" which are the boy and girl with the best outfit. Sometimes they also have parades or typical foods focused on different indigenous groups of Honduras. Starting of the festivities with the history of Lempira.
