Back to www.HopeForStan.org. Back to HopeForStan.org. Friday, December 24, 2010. This past week, a friend of mine sent me a message. Now, you may have seen it before, but I hadn't so I would like to share with all of you. The "W" in Christmas. Each December, I vowed to make Christmas a calm and peaceful experience. I. Had cut back on nonessential obligations - extensive card writing, endless. Baking, decorating, and even overspending. Yet still, I found myself. The true meaning of Christmas. Holiday as C...

Back to www.HopeForStan.org. Back to HopeForStan.org. Thursday, December 25, 2014. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It has been a long time since I have updated the blog and wanted to give you a short update. I am back to deer hunting, doing yard work and even got some bowling in. (Those of you that know me will get a kick out of that). Most people wouldn’t know I have MS if I didn’t tell them. I had gotten some of the sensation back! So, the Stem Cells are still working and I am getting better each d...

It is hard to believe that it has been 2 weeks since Suzie and I were in warm, sunny Mexico. I talked with her this evening on the way home from work and we both agreed that with all the snow we that we have had in Kansas City and Denver and with the single digit and below zero temperatures, it is time to go back to Tijauana and get me a booster. J. I asked him to take some items downstairs ...

Back to www.HopeForStan.org. Back to HopeForStan.org. Sunday, October 31, 2010. The adventure has started. This undertaking started about 16 months ago. My brother, a vet in Carrollton, TX, started performing stem cell therapy medical trials on dogs with hip dysplasia and arthritis. He would remove some fat from the back of the neck of the dog, send it to a processing clinic in San Diego, CA who would extract the stem cells and send that animal’s stem cells back. Anyone who wants to get stem cell therapy...

Back to www.HopeForStan.org. Back to HopeForStan.org. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Friday - Last Day. Friday, January 28, 2011. Thursday - Day 4. I felt that sensation again for the first time in many years! I went in to take a shower and felt the cold tile on the bottom of my feet! Until now, I have felt nothing but pressure for several years. I couldn’t believe that it had been less than 24 hours since I received my stem cells. This was amazing! I have had calamari several times but this was wonderful....

Back to www.HopeForStan.org. Back to HopeForStan.org. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. In March 1995, I had my first known exacerbation of MS. I woke up one morning with parethesias on my right side, which is like the pins and needles feeling you get when your feet fall asleep only this didn't go away. In April, the right, back side of my neck felt like a severe sunburn and developed into an itch you cannot imagine. Nothing would relieve it. It was like I had had a stroke. Because of the high risk, I decide...
