Hope and Love for Families of Georgia, Inc. Is a 501 3 organization formed in 2003 and registered in the State of Georgia (EIN 65- 177111). Those receiving short-term assistance from Hope and Love include: Families who are experiencing hard times because of unemployment, health problems, domestic abuse, or just having seemingly insurmountable obstacles through no fault of their own. We also coordinate service and support other non-profit organizations whose vision and purpose is in line with ours.

Hope and Love Team Members. While growing up, Josephine Ekworomadu helped her parents raise 9 children. As someone who enjoys helping and motivating families who have given up hope, she volunteers her time whenever possible. Since the organization was founded in 2004 those helped include:. A female police officer who was shot in the hand in the line of duty (gifts and gift cards). Katrina victims in temporary housing with a holiday celebration. Middle school children needing school supplies (book bags and various items) in Cobb County. A Smyrna teenager who lost her arm as a passenger in a car accident. A single mom raising 6 children who needed help with utilities in Dekalb County. Hosea Williams' Feed the Hungry program.

These services would contribute to our goal of helping families get back on their feet so as to be financially stable and responsible providers for their families. Your financial support and donations are very much appreciated, and will help us to continue achieving our goals. All donations are receipted and tax-deductible as allowed by IRS. 12 families and their children were blessed with gift baskets food, clothing, toys, cookies and gift cards.
