Boldly Compassionate: October 2014
http://www.boldlycompassionate.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40. Sunday, October 19, 2014. Compassion in the aftermath of violence and hate. I thank God for His healing presence, and that He stands between me and those that have hurt me, and those I have hurt, loving each one of us and willing to provide exactly what we need. http://musingsonministry.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Thoughts on serving Christ in a local and international context. Sunday, September 7, 2008. A God of Wonders. We've had the opportunity for the second Sunday in a row to worship at an International Fellowship in our new city. I understand that on any given Sunday there will be more than twenty different nationalities worshipping together. Both weeks is has been a wonderful rainbow, or as a brother from Venezuela said, a beautiful flower garden, of God's children. We sing a few (couple? A God of Wonders.

Musings on Ministry: New Things
http://musingsonministry.blogspot.com/2009/10/new-things.html
Thoughts on serving Christ in a local and international context. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Bob Benson wrote a wonderful little book entitled "Come Share the Being". In it he tells the story of when he was a young child and had a younger brother born into the family. He related how he was jealous of the younger boy because he would get to experience "all them new things." What new things? There is another emotion that comes with doing something for the first time. PANIC! Maybe I can do this.

Musings on Ministry: August 2008
http://musingsonministry.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Thoughts on serving Christ in a local and international context. Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Leaving vs. Arriving. That will be something else. We'll (hopefully) have the convenience of the Internet to maintain contact with family and friends. We might be able to use a telephone or Skype and even see the person we're talking to. We won't be cut off from those close to us. PTL. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Keizer, Oregon, United States. View my complete profile. Leaving vs. Arriving. A New Year is Coming.

Musings on Ministry: Reflections of a Common Man
http://musingsonministry.blogspot.com/2010/05/reflections-of-common-man.html
Thoughts on serving Christ in a local and international context. Saturday, May 15, 2010. Reflections of a Common Man. So, I reflect on the birds of the air and the worth we ascribe to them – great or small – and the vastly surpassing worth of those creatures God deigned to create in His image. I’m humbled again to be called a child of God – a son of the Lord of Heaven. It’s amazing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Keizer, Oregon, United States. View my complete profile. Musings on Ministry: Fresh Is as Fresh Does
http://musingsonministry.blogspot.com/2010/10/fresh-is-as-fresh-does.html
Thoughts on serving Christ in a local and international context. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Fresh Is as Fresh Does. I read in Matthew 16 a passage that still challenges me. I say “still” because it’s the key verse God used to bring me to repentance in 1971. “What will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Musings on Ministry: November 2008
http://musingsonministry.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thoughts on serving Christ in a local and international context. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Jesus, don't you keep me from that storm. I want to walk that sacred ground. For you are Master of it all,. And I am but a lost and found.". How many times have we prayed ourselves right out of perhaps the most significant discoveries of our lives when we've asked for deliverance from difficulties, trials or tribulations rather than allowing God to finish the work He's doing? Musings on Ministry: September 2010
http://musingsonministry.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thoughts on serving Christ in a local and international context. Monday, September 20, 2010. Let us raise a joyful song to the Lord,. A shout of triumph to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving,. And sing him psalms of triumph. For the Lord is the great God,. A great king over all gods;. The farthest places of the earth are in his hands,. And the folds of the hills are his;. The sea is his, he made it;. The dry land fashioned by his hands is his. For he is our God,.
