凡事都有第一次，讀經也是一樣的，不過要持久不間斷，還真是不容易。 剛剛步入教會時，就有聽說『靈修運動』這個活動，但是『讀聖經』聽起來、做起來都像是做研究一樣，讓人覺得勢必耗費一番心思，所以想都沒想過要參加。後來，在李牧師的鼓勵之下，加上為了帶領我的室友- 曉惠信主，我開始嘗試進行『兩年讀經計畫』，『反正，到時候曉惠一定撐不下去，我就可以順理成章不用讀了！』我打著如意算盤想著，但 神的恩典與信實，超乎所求所想。曉惠在讀經過程中，反而成為激勵我、帶動我讀經的重要動力。 她原生家庭的信仰，與基督教的教義產生衝突，讓我學習溝通與忍耐；. 我才發現，神並非要我帶她信主，而是要透過曉惠來讓我認識 神。神看穿我懶惰的心思，以這種我無法後悔的方式推使我認真讀經，並且讓我從中大大獲得。 若不是曉惠的疑問，我也不會專心尋求 神，讓我在每次讀經過程中，倚靠神。 若不是曉惠對我的挑戰，我也不會看見身為基督徒的驕傲與自大，幫助我迴轉靈裡，調整自己。 若不是每日讀經，我也無法在這充滿挑戰的工作與生活中，獲得平安與喜樂。 若不是這種持之以恆的讀經過程，我也無法更加認識 神。 那將要灰心，離棄全能者不敬畏神的人ʌ...
