Onze kennel werd opgericht in het jaar 1954 door Harrie Rijks, en kreeg in het jaar 1959 de officiele status toegekend van Erkende Kennel door de Raad van Beheer. Vader Harrie hield van zijn hobby, dat voor het grootste deel zijn leven bepaalde. Steeds weer probeerde hij de juiste bloedlijnen toe te passen om het bestaan van het Duitse Herderras in stand te houden in heel zijn oorsprong en origine.
