Father Christmas comes to Hornsea Freeport. Hornsea Freeport came to life on Saturday morning, 14th November when Santa arrived with his reindeer. Assisted by members of the Rotary Club of Hornsea and East Riding. Father Christmas landed at the shopping complex after a long and tiring night travelling. The Elves who looked after him were delighted that they could help raise enough money for the various charities the Rotary Club support and worked hard throughout the weekends of November and December!

We sail several classes of boat, but most of the racing now takes place under the umbrella of the handicap Fleet. Yorkshire’s largest natural lake an. It has over 250 acres of navigable water and has been the home of Hornsea Sailing Club since 1946. With a maximum depth of only 2.5 metres it is an ideal lake for beginner sailors.
