This is really interesting, and if you're like me, Biscuit, you'll want to listen to the NPR story, not just read it! Jon - Globe Experience: November 2009
http://jonglobebikes.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 30, 2009. Saturday, November 28, 2009. Sunday, November 22, 2009. Biking has now replaced walking. I used to 'hoof it' those 3 1/2 blocks to pick up my pizza order but now I ride. Having a bike fully set up for the street is wonderful and oh so much fun. Inclement weather be damned! Monday, November 16, 2009. Needless to say it was a very exciting and eye-opening cycling experience. Cyclocross is much older and more established than I imagined. Its origins hark back to the early 1900...

Connected Things: October 2010
http://connectedthings.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
You are looking fine and dandy. Sunday, October 31, 2010. I've seen several of these around town, and the gag is hardly original, but I think it's funny every single time I see it. Honestly, I kind of wish every horse tie had some variant of this going on. Update: Apparently this is a thing! Like, an organized thing! A friend of mine on Facebook alerted me to the existence of the Horse Project. Links to this post. Saturday, October 30, 2010. And they're in True Blood. As did that horrible Van Helsin.

Emily Gilmore Designs: November 2010

Sunday, November 28, 2010. One of my Thanksgiving projects was to make homemade candles. I love candles and think they add a nice element to any room. After rummaging through our local thrift store for vintage tins, I found some keepers. Thrift stores are also full of old pillar candles. So I snagged a few, melted them down, added my own pomegranate oil scent and poured the contents into the tin. Then wah la! My very own vintage style candle. Gotta love DIY. Normalcy: Aside: Quirks
http://normalcyaside.blogspot.com/2011/02/quirks.html
I love making finds like this around Portland. I have found knit covered bike parking and phone poles, funky lawn dressers used as free boxes, paint decorated intersections, more bike parts have been used as fences as fence parts, and not to mention all of those tied up plastic horses to the side walk from The Horse Project. It's weird and it's awesome. Quirks are rad. Its part of what keeps life interesting. March 12, 2011 at 12:09 PM. Http:/ dollcubby.blogspot.com/2011/03/i-heart-oregon.html.

Zarah... With a Hook: April 2008
http://zarahwithahook.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Zarah With a Hook. Life, crochet, family, funnies, and all the rest of Me. Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Sorry, no knitting/crochet here. Maybe later. I've found a place to live - an important thing to have by most people's standards. It's lower level (only 2 stairs), and allows both cats and dogs. It's more than what we were paying before, by about $50, but I think we'll be ok. My roommate, Shylent. When Linda finds a job, things will get even easier for all of us (2.5 incomes is better than 1.5)....So, l...
